BIM Strategic Management &
Digital Delivery
In an era of complex infrastructure, project success is built on the foundation of standardized data and strategic foresight. My approach to BIM Strategic Management integrates the rigorous principles of ISO 19650 with the innovative potential of Digital Twin technology. From establishing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for massive projects like the NEOM Trojena Water Transmission Line to developing automated quality control frameworks, I ensure that every digital deliverable is not just a model, but a high-value asset for construction and long-term operation.
Digital Delivery in Practice: The Spine Water Transmission Project
On large-scale infrastructure projects, the Common Data Environment (CDE) is the heartbeat of coordination. This video demonstrates a live implementation of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) as the central truth for the Spine Water Transmission project.
Key Strategic Workflows:
Integrated Weekly Coordination: We leverage the ACC platform to host live, model-based weekly meetings, allowing stakeholders to visualize progress and resolve multi-disciplinary clashes in real-time.
Automated Compliance Auditing: To ensure 100% data integrity, I developed a verification workflow that extracts project sheets directly from the BIM model and performs a side-by-side comparison against submitted PDF documentation.
ISO 19650 Information Management: This process guarantees that every deliverable is not only technically accurate but also fully compliant with international information management standards.
Bridging the gap between horizontal infrastructure and vertical construction requires a sophisticated strategic framework. The displayed extracts from Code A approved BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for NEOM and RCJ represent the benchmark for large-scale digital delivery.
Advanced Implementation Highlights:
Hybrid Modeling Synergy: Seamless integration of Civil BIM tools (such as Civil 3D/OpenRoads) with architectural modeling platforms to ensure site-wide geometric and data consistency.
Process Optimization: Beyond standard delivery, I facilitated workshops that led to the enhancement of client BIM procedures, refining workflows for better project lifecycle efficiency.
For the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJ), I engineered a sophisticated information management system that aligned complex BIM element parameters with centralized database sheets and the client’s revised coding procedures. Leading the EGEC team, I translated the rigorous requirements of ISO 19650 into practical, "smart" workflows. By utilizing advanced automation for data lookups and input verification, we minimized manual errors in payment application processing and progress reporting. This approach ensured that every deliverable was not only technically accurate but underwent automated final verification to meet the most stringent international standards for digital delivery.
